So, Riston and I are all moved into our apartment, and unpacked and all that! We're getting the place all prettied up.
It's cool having an actual apartment, but I do miss Zener a bit! I miss seeing Mercy every day and everyone else. And Miss Yates cooking!
Tiggy is loving the apartment though.
The summer camp me and Mercy are working at starts next Monday, so I'm going to enjoy the next few days of sleeping in!
Oh, what's going on for the Fourth? Is going to the party at the school lame? And does it matter if it is? :D

I'm so excited to actually perform the show this weekend! I think it's going to be so great!
Rehersing in full costume is so much fun. It really brings things together, I think.

Friday is supposed to be beautiful! Very warm and sunny. So I was thinking, we should organize a big big picnic for when classes are over in the afternoon!
Everyone can bring some sort of picnic food - sandwiches, potato salad, other salads, fruits and veggies, chicken, sweets, drinks, whatever! We can get lots of big blankets to spread out, and bring frisbees and washer toss games and other outdoor games!....
... Just no lawn darts after what happened last year! :D

I have to admit, seeing Eli get 'hauled' away for the mock jail was pretty hilarious!
I'm working at the fish pond booth for a while this afternoon, but otherwise, will just be having fun. And I'm excited for the first barbecue of the season. I can practically already smell that hamburger.

Only a month and a half until graduation. And you just know that time is going to go by fast.
There's so much to be done in that time. Not the least of, finding an apartment - Riston!! We have to start looking. Soon!
After that will come finding things to put in the apartment, so we're not sitting on the floor. And I have to figure out course selection stuff for next year. Not to mention homework and exams will come soon and all that jazz!

The theatre show last night was a lot of fun! The magic show was great, and me and Mercy had a lot of fun working the consession stand!
I still smell like popcorn though, even though I had a shower this morning! Or maybe it's just my imagination after scooping popcorn for hours! But I'm sure I can still smell it.
It's a gorgeous day outside. I went for a run this morning and now I feel like doing something else outside. Anyone up for an afternoon picnic? We can grab a bunch of food and a big planket and just go hang out on the grounds. Bring a frisbee and stuff. Come on people!

We'll be putting on the musical in like a month - I can't believe how fast time has gone!! It's exciting and also a little bit scary. But I think we've come along fantastically. And the costumes are going to be ready for next week! I'm excited for the Pink Ladies jackets - among other things. And getting a chance to learn the dance numbers in the heels we have to wear!
And then after that it will be exams and graduation and prom and all of that!! The next couple months are going to be busy! I'm doing initial course selection now for September - or trying to! It's so hard to choose, there are so many options, even for a First Year!
As well, I've been looking into summer jobs. Mercy! There is a day camp in town and I think we should apply there! It would be lots of fun to play with all the little kids all day!

So who wants to go see Earth when it opens (April 22nd! Earth Day!)? It looks really fantastic! Plus, Disney is going to plant a tree for every ticket bought opening week, and that's such a great idea!
Mom and Dad sent me a whole bunch of Easter stuff. A big bag of Gummi Bears to make up my stash, plus a bag of Jelly Beans, and chocolate eggs and other goodies. I will be sharing!
Also, Riston, they sent you some stuff too! Come and pick it up!

I'm excited for Spring, but it was so pretty running this morning with that little snow flurry. Because it wasn't really cold, and the snow flakes drifted down so nicely. Made for a very nice run!
I'm trying to keep distracted with positive things. Not that I'm forgetting about, or not concerning myself with the unfortunate things that have happened, but I don't want that to be the entire focus!
Musical rehersal is going to be fun tonight! Because I think we're working on the choreography to some of the big dance numbers, which is going to be hilarious and also a lot of fun. I especially can't wait for the Born to Hand Jive number. :D
Currently I am sitting here eating gummi worms and procrastinating on homework. But I'll get it done, don't worry! :D

Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone! :D
I'm writing this from Massachusetts. Because that's where I am! Where Riston, Mercy, Trevor, Eli and I are in fact! The hotel we're staying at has a few computers in the lobby for guest use! So I'm sitting here typing before I go grab some yogurt from the continental breakfast. I think the others are still asleep. I got up to go for a run!
We left on Saturday and the drive was pretty good. We swapped out to take turns driving so no one was stuck the whole way and brought lots of snacks to keep the boys calm ;)
We're in Boston right now. There's a parade and stuff today, that should be fun! Tomorrow we're going to Six Flags in Springfield. Which is really exciting. Eli keeps talking about the Simpsons!
And we're taking lots of pictures, don't worry!

Mercy, Riston, Trevor, Eli - we're going to leave for the road trip on Saturday morning at 9:30, so be ready! We're taking Trevor's van... right? :D
Drama people - rehersals will be on hold for March break, but anyone staying around, you're welcome to practice together.

Oh my gosh!! Riston and I were out driving and we found a cat! It ran right in front of the car and we pulled over and found it.
Riston is an Automatic Drawing genius, because it was a three legged cat! He (I think it's he!) is all dirty and skinny, poor thing. We bundled him up in my coat and brought him back. Miss Foster is looking at him right now, cleaning him up and stuff. And taking him to the vet, because she knows people there.
But he is so cute. Scraggly, but cute. We decided to name him Tiggy.

Okay, plans are underway for surprise wedding shower thing for Mr. Yates and Miss Wilson!
I've spoken to the Headmasters. On Friday afternoon, classes are going to be cancelled from 2pm onwards. 2pm is when we'll be having the party! It's going to be in the gym.
We'll be setting up that morning, so people who have free periods can go down there to help set up tables and decorate and stuff. Miss Duncan is in charge of decorations, so see her if you want to help with that!
As for the gifts:
- We're taking collection up until Wednesday night. Then a bunch of us are going to go into town and get a gift. Right now we're thinking a cool piece of art for their walls, as the main gift, plus some smaller things, with whatever money is leftover.
- The scrapbook is already in the works. If you have cool pictures from this school year, send them on down. Oona is going to be coming around classes with her camera to take candids and make sure we have everyone! Girls who are helping out with the scrapbooking, we're going to put it all together Thursday night! In my room so neither of them accidently see anything.
- The technopaths will be filming a congratulation-film type thing. So expect to see them coming to class with cameras as well this week to film everyone's well-wishes and messages and stuff like that!
Derek is in charge of food, with Rylee and Minnie helping.
We're going to do Hallie's suggestion of a fake-ceremony, with a toilet paper veil and stuff :D And some games and there will be lots of food and presents. Yes, if you want to get them something seperate, you definitely can! We'll also be showing the wedding congratulation film then!
And remember, this is TOP SECRET!!! So don't let it slip to Mr. Yates or Miss Wilson! Not a word! Mr. Wright and Miss Holmes are responsible for get them down to the gym at 2 on Friday afternoon!

So, I know some people are probably planning to get little gifts for Miss Wilson and Mr. Yates's wedding/baby, but, I was thinking...
We should all chip in and get something! Something meaningful and a bit different than regular wedding gifts.
And maybe we can throw a little party for them. I bet if we asked some of the other teachers we could get an afternoon off classes (secretly!) to hold the party. We could get cake and food and stuff. And I was thinking we could all help and put together a scrapbook for them of the school and students and all that.
Anyway, thoughts? Asssitance? Ideas?

I've had songs from Grease stuck in my head all day, because I was listening to the soundtrack this afternoon. I've been listening to it a lot. I mostly know the lyrics already, but I want to get the timing right down.
I can't wait till we start the song part of rehersals. And the dance correography! I was talking Miss Duncan, and we're going to start working on dance numbers soon!
I'm going to start running half-marathon distances on the weekends so I can work on my time. Should be fun, especially with spring coming! I measured out a route this weekend that's 13 miles!

I have the Rec Room tv reserved just for that - so whoever wants to come, come! There will be snacks and drinks and the usual! And ballots, so people can vote on who they think will win and we'll tally them up and see who got the most right at the end of the night! There might even be a prize :D :D
